Systems Integration Software Engineer (m/f)

Opis posla

        - Design, develop, and maintain GUI and control system software based on a Qt5 cross-platform architecture using C++14/17
- Take ownership of software development projects and deliver well-scoped tasks in line with team plans and project goals
- Identify and implement appropriate solutions to ambiguous or open-ended technical problems
- Write robust, reusable, efficient, and maintainable code with a strong focus on quality and testability
- Use AI coding assistants effectively as part of everyday development, while reviewing, testing, and taking ownership of the resulting code
- Participate actively in code reviews and design discussions, ensuring engineering standards and best practices are maintained
- Contribute to project planning and help define clear deliverables and technical tasks
- Extend, improve, and document shared modules and software libraries
- Debug issues on live systems by forming hypotheses, investigating root causes, and implementing appropriate solutions
- Work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Maintain awareness of customer needs and contribute to technical decisions in cooperation with product stakeholders

Uvjeti:
- Strong knowledge of modern C++ with solid software design skills, including the ability to read and critically review existing code
- Proven experience developing GUIs and applications using the Qt5 framework
- Good working knowledge of Linux as both a development and target platform
- Demonstrable debugging skills, including the ability to investigate issues on live systems and identify root causes
- Experience with Git in a collaborative development environment
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Understanding of asynchronous RPC concepts
- Ability to work independently, make technical decisions, take ownership of tasks, and drive issues to resolution
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
