Senior Java Engineer (m/f)

Opis posla

        We are looking for an experienced Java Engineer to join our core product team and contribute to the development of a complex enterprise system used by international customers.

Your responsibilities:
- Design and develop our product features as part of the core team
- Contribute to system architecture, performance optimization, and scalability improvements
- Participate in code reviews and CI/CD processes
- Design and implement integrations with customer environments
- Troubleshoot issues and support integration efforts in customer environments

Uvjeti:
Your profile:
- 4+ years of professional experience with Java, including concurrent and multi-threaded programming
- Strong understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, load balancing, firewalls)
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
- Experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database
- Experience with Git and at least one CI/CD platform (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket or similar)
- Ability to communicate with customers and internal stakeholders in a clear, structured way
- Proficiency in the English language (written and spoken)

Nice to have:
- Experience with application servers (e.g. WildFly, Quarkus) 
- Experience with Jakarta EE
- Experience with JVM performance analysis and Java application optimization (e.g. JVM tuning, profiling, memory/CPU analysis)
- Experience with virtualization technologies 
- Experience with time-series databases (e.g. Tiger Data)
- Experience with database replication and high-availability architectures
- Technical university degree (e.g. computer science or similar)
