YOUR PROFILE

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Embedded Systems Engineering, Computer Science, IT Security, or a comparable technical field

• Experience in cybersecurity, preferably in the field of embedded systems

• High analytical skills, systematic and methodical approach to work

• Programming skills in C, C++ or similar programming languages

• Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity standards and experience with certification processes and certification bodies is considered an advantage

• Experience with fieldbus protocols and IoT technologies would be beneficial

• Languages: English is required, German is desirable

• Communicative, creative, flexible and a strong team player

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take ownership of the design and implementation of the security architecture and support the development of embedded systems to ensure security, robustness and resilience throughout their lifecycle

• Conduct threat modelling and cybersecurity risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and define appropriate mitigation measures based on standards such as IEC 62443

• Contribute to the definition of cybersecurity requirements and specifications and implement hardened software for embedded systems

• Assess software functionality, robustness and resilience by planning and conducting comprehensive security tests

• Coordinate and support certification activities with external testing and certification bodies, acting as the central point of contact throughout the assessment process

• Collaborate with systems engineers, software and hardware developers, test engineers and functional safety specialists
