My Staffing Partner is looking for a sharp, experienced Safety & Maintenance Manager to step into a true leadership role over a growing 30-truck U.S. trucking fleet. This isn't a caretaker position - it's a chance to build a safety program from the ground up, put your stamp on how a fleet runs, and grow with the company as it scales. If you know U.S. trucking safety and compliance inside and out, and you're ready for a role where your decisions actually shape the fleet's future, this is it.

What You'll Do

• Manage and monitor ELDs across the fleet, ensuring accurate logs and full compliance

• Coach and counsel drivers on safety performance, HOS violations, and best practices

• Develop and maintain a formal safety procedure and compliance program

• Maintain all fleet maintenance logs and manage scheduled preventive maintenance for 30 trucks

• Work closely with the recruiting team to ensure Driver Qualification (DQ) files are complete and audit-ready

• Monitor overall DOT/FMCSA compliance across the fleet

• Respond to on-call safety or maintenance needs outside standard hours, including occasional weekends

Requirements - Please Read Carefully

Minimum 2 years of directly related safety experience in the USA trucking market is required.

Candidates without direct USA trucking safety experience will not be considered at this time.

• Strong understanding of ELD systems, HOS regulations, and DQ file requirements

• Comfortable coaching drivers directly and enforcing safety standards

• Highly organized and dependable, able to manage multiple moving pieces across a growing fleet

• Available for occasional after-hours/weekend on-call needs
