Remote Operations Manager (m/f)

        We're looking for a proactive Operations Manager with strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude. The Operations Manager is a key member of Bastion Logistics' management team, responsible for the smooth running of operations and managing a team of drivers.
Specific responsibilities and tasks
Driver Management and Support

Support drivers with departures and ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
Communicate and solve issues with drivers and, report to depot management and analyse issues on routes. Assess and arrange support to any route that is at risk.
Arrange and deliver appropriate training (incl. doorstepping/ health & safety).
Onboarding training and induction for new drivers.

Administration:

Log driver working hours and update payment sheet daily.
Attend meetings with clients and depot staff.
Keep track of distributed and returned uniforms & equipment.
Ensure drivers sign onboarding paperwork prior to deployment.
Arrange and roster driver for shifts.
Report and assist with all incidents and traffic accidents.
Conduct other tasks as required.
