As we establish our production footprint, we are building the foundations of a world-class Quality Management System and are looking for a motivated Quality Engineer (m/f) to join us at the very beginning of this exciting journey.

This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious engineer who wants to do more than maintain existing systems - you will help create them. 

As the first member of the Quality function, you will work closely with local operations, our global headquarters, and experienced specialists from our lead manufacturing plant to ensure a successful production start-up and support the long-term development of quality excellence in Croatia.

Key Responsibilities:
Product & Process Quality:
- Perform, analyze, and interpret electrical testing of transformers and magnetic components, including:
- Winding Resistance (WR)
- Insulation Resistance (IR)
- Turns Ratio Testing (TTR)
- High Voltage (HV) Testing
- No-Load Testing
- Polarity Testing
- Inductance and related electrical measurements
- Ensure products comply with technical specifications, engineering drawings, and Bills of Material (BOMs)
- Support production teams in identifying and resolving quality-related issues

Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement:
- Establish and maintain incoming material inspection processes and in-process quality controls
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management System documentation in accordance with ISO requirements
- Manage nonconformities, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and quality performance metrics
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in internal, customer, and certification audits

Global Collaboration:
- Coordinate closely with Standex Electronics global headquarters and the lead manufacturing plant to implement best practices, standard processes, and quality requirements
- Support the transfer of manufacturing knowledge, test methods, and quality standards into the new Croatia operation
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, supply chain, and global quality teams to drive successful product introduction and process maturity

Uvjeti:
Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering) or a comparable technical qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, testing, or industrial engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Professional proficiency in English

Preferred:
- Knowledge of transformer technology, electromagnetic components, or electrical testing methods
- Experience with quality tools and methodologies
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 requirements and quality management systems
- Understanding of IEC standards and product compliance requirements
