Junior Subsea Analysis Engineer

Opis posla

        - Supporting design and installation analyses for Oil & Gas and Marine Renewables projects.
- Assisting with subsea pipeline installation analyses, including S-Lay, Reel-lay and J-Lay methods.
- Supporting subsea cable installation analyses, including cable lay, pull-in and related installation studies.
- Assisting with installation analyses of in-line structures and other subsea components.
- Supporting field layout development, including pipeline and cable routing.
- Contributing to subsea pipeline and cable basic design activities, including mechanical sizing, on-bottom stability, free span analysis, on-bottom roughness, expansion and crossing design.
- Supporting advanced design and installation studies under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Contributing to naval architecture related activities, including mooring, seakeeping and vessel motion verifications.
- Supporting structural design activities for temporary and permanent structures, including rigging, seafastening and subsea structures.
- Assisting in the development and validation of in-house engineering tools.

Uvjeti:
This position is suitable for a junior profile, including recent graduates or candidates at the beginning of their engineering career who are interested in subsea analysis, offshore engineering and international project work.

Mandatory requirements
- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, structural engineering, marine/naval technology, offshore technology or a related technical discipline.
- Basic understanding of finite element analysis and engineering calculations.
- Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages, such as Excel VBA, Python or similar.
- Professional level of written and spoken English.
- Good communication skills and willingness to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Analytical mindset, curiosity and motivation to learn from experienced engineers.
- Structured problem-solving approach and attention to technical detail.
- Good command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Additional assets
- Internship, student project or thesis related to offshore engineering, subsea engineering, naval architecture, structural engineering, marine operations, renewables or a similar field.
- Advanced understanding of finite element methods.
- Programming or scripting skills with a focus on Python.
- Basic knowledge of specialized engineering software or numerical analysis tools.
- Fluency in another language, such as Italian or French.
