Java Web Engineer (Mid / Senior) (m/f)

        We are seeking a skilled Java Web Engineer (m/f) to join our growing tech team. Our focus is on building complete SaaS solutions in the automotive and mobility sectors, and therefore we like our teams small, extremely skilled, and focused on a limited number of products where we are in control of the whole development lifecycle. This job position is open for all applicants - Mid to Seniors. We offer the possibility of career advancement in IT leadership and managerial positions.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain Java (Kotlin) applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams inside the mobility sector to design and ship new features for various domains in fueling, e-charging, truck, parking, and payment systems
- Participate in the whole software lifecycle - planning, development, deployment, maintenance, and documentation of software solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies

Uvjeti:
- Experience with Java and Spring Boot frameworks
- Seasoned .NET developers are also welcomed
- Proficient in SQL and relational database systems like PostgreSQL, and strong knowledge of ORM technologies like Hibernate
- Experience with designing REST services and microservice architectures
- Overall knowledge of Web development (HTML & CSS) and related technologies
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong desire for writing clean code solutions, easily understandable by others and a habit of writing testable code
- Proficient in Business/IT English and Croatian
- Independent in learning, great team player and ability to work and learn in a team environment

Senior (and above) position requirements:
- You have strong leadership and mentorship skills and act as a true Senior member of any team by taking responsibility and making other colleagues better in their work
- You are a master of your craft with a long history of experience in your technology stacks, and you have superb coding abilities of writing readable, testable, and clean code
- You are a great code reviewer, with a habit of making code reviews, not just to check, but with an indent to improve work of others and ensuring quality in other teams, with an ability to discuss and exchange ideas with others
- You are an Architect of a complete technical solution with an ability to define technology standards and oversee the whole development process during the project lifecycle
- You are proficient in requirement engineering, organized and can work with other stakeholders by defining requirements, solutions, and ideas on products of your domains

Bonus points:
- University degree in Computer Science or an equivalent IT knowledge
- Experience with any frontend development (iOS, Android, React/Angular)
- Experience with other backend technologies like Node.js or .NET
- IT leadership experience
- Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS)

Salary ranges (Gross HR 1):
- Junior - up to 2500 €/month
- Mid - up to 3400 €/month
- Senior - up to 5000 €/month
- Principal - from 5000 €/month
- Lead - from 4000 €/month

*remote = semi-remote until you get productive, after that fully remote, with occasional BBQ-brainstorming session at the office
