Internal Auditor (m/f)

        We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute audit engagements, including defining scope, objectives, focus areas, and identifying critical risk and control points
- Analyze end-to-end business processes and lead initiatives focused on standardization, alignment, and continuous improvement
- Prepare well-structured audit reports with practical, actionable recommendations
- Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and track progress to closure
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across the organization, as well as with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed
- Contribute to the broader audit function by sharing knowledge, applying modern tools (including AI and data analytics), and supporting the development of audit practices

Uvjeti:
Qualifications you bring:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in internal audit, risk, controls, or a closely related field
- Experience in a financial institution is beneficial
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with IIA Standards (IPPF) and risk-based audit methodology
- Ability to independently lead audit engagements from planning through to reporting, including managing timelines, and stakeholder communication
- Ability to structure your work, manage priorities, and drive engagements to closure
- Experience or genuine curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, and a desire to apply them in your daily work
- Ability to explain complex topics simply to non-audit stakeholders
- Integrity and independence as non-negotiables
