        Finance Accountant - Southern & Central Europe

About the team and role:
- Supports the Croatian Finance department ensuring up-to-date and compliant accounting records
- Assistance in tax affairs, statutory accounting and corporate regulations
- Support Commercial and Operational Departments in their business development
- The role works closely with the Finance Supervisor, Subregional Finance Senior Manager, Regional finance teams and internal stakeholders

In this role you will:
- Support in ensuring that the Finance department performs to expected Herbalife standards
- Liaise from time to time with regional finance team on country financial questions
- Support in ensuring that Croatian entity complies with Sarbanes & Oxley Act requirements.
- Manage accounting operations, including accounts receivable, account payable, and the general ledger
- Preparation of outgoing payments in line with the payment schedule
- Assist with Monthly EMEA Management Report
-  Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Adhering of  all administrative activities essential to the running of the Finance department

Uvjeti:
Our requirements:
- 2-3 years experience within an Accounting environment 
- Good all round knowledge of local GAAP. Work in International company is considered an advantage
- Experienced in PC-based accounting systems such as Pantheon is ideal and must be proficient with MS excel. 
- Good interpersonal skills and a team player
- Maintains strict confidentiality and manages sensitive information appropriately
- Builds strong working relationships at all levels, with awareness of cultural differences
