At Hilti, a Field Engineer (m/f) is a customer-facing engineer whose primary role is to develop specifications, influence technical decision makers, and create business opportunities through engineering expertise. Rather than focusing only on calculations, the FE combines engineering knowledge with account development and project work.

This position is field-based, covering the assigned geographic territory (Northern and Eastern Croatia together with Gorski kotar, Primorje and Istria region) with occasional work from our Zagreb office.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

- Build and maintain relationships with architects, engineers, consultants, designers, and technical influencers
- Deliver technical presentations, seminars, and product training to design and engineering stakeholders
- Provide expert engineering advice on anchoring, firestop, fastening, installation systems, and other Hilti solutions
- Influence project specifications and secure approvals to ensure Hilti products are included in designs and tender documents
- Identify, track, and manage specification opportunities, collaborating closely with the sales team to convert them into business
- Visit construction sites and customer offices to assess technical challenges and recommend effective solutions
- Maintain accurate records of contacts, specifications, and project opportunities using Hilti systems and software
- Stay current on construction methods, building codes, and industry trends while supporting technical approvals and engaging with the design and construction community

Uvjeti:
What you'll bring:
- A Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree is preferred, but a Civil Engineering degree is also applicable
- Knowledge of construction methods and practices is preferred
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an engineering/construction role is preferred
