Facility Maintenance Team Lead (m/f)

Opis posla

        - Lead and coordinate the maintenance and reliable operation of critical Facility infrastructure to ensure safe operations, high system availability and production continuity.
- Take operational responsibility for Facility-owned electrical infrastructure, including transformers, medium- and low-voltage distribution, switchgear, protection systems, voltage regulation, UPS and emergency power systems.
- Manage industrial utilities and technical building systems, including HVAC, AHUs, BMS, heating and cooling, compressed air, water systems, pumps, drainage, humidification and technical chambers.
- Develop, implement and continuously improve preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programmes based on asset criticality, operational risk and manufacturer requirements.
- Lead technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and corrective actions for infrastructure failures, recurring breakdowns, power disturbances and technical incidents.
- Plan and coordinate shutdowns, electrical switching, system interventions and controlled restarts, including technical risk assessment, stakeholder coordination and verification of operational readiness.
- Lead, mentor and organise the internal Facility maintenance team, including priorities, task allocation, competence development, coverage and on-call support.
- Manage external contractors, service providers and maintenance vendors, ensuring technical quality, timely execution, safety compliance, cost efficiency and adherence to agreed service levels.
- Support commissioning, technical handover and acceptance of new or modified systems, ensuring that testing, documentation, training, warranties, spare parts and maintenance requirements are complete before operational takeover.
- Plan maintenance needs, spare parts, service contracts and lifecycle requirements, provide technical and cost input for budget planning, maintain accurate technical documentation and communicate significant technical risks to the Facility Manager and relevant stakeholders.

Uvjeti:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or another relevant technical field, or equivalent technical education supported by substantial relevant industrial experience.
- Several years of experience in facility maintenance, industrial utilities, critical infrastructure or technical operations within a large manufacturing or technically complex environment.
- Strong knowledge of medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution, transformers, switchgear, protection systems, electrical safety and the basic principles of power quality.
- Strong knowledge of industrial HVAC systems, Air Handling Units, Building Management Systems, heating and cooling systems, compressed air and other critical industrial utilities.
- Experience with temperature, humidity, pressure and air-quality control systems, including humidification systems and technical chambers, is considered an advantage.
- Proven experience developing and managing preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programmes.
- Proven experience leading technical maintenance teams and coordinating internal and external technical resources.
- Experience managing suppliers, contractors, service contracts, SLAs and critical spare-parts inventories.
- Experience participating in commissioning, technical handovers, planned shutdowns, electrical switching and controlled system restarts.
- Ability to read, understand and critically evaluate electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, technical specifications, service reports, risk assessments and contractor proposals.
- Strong troubleshooting, root-cause-analysis, problem-solving and technical decision-making skills.
- Understanding of maintenance-management systems, asset criticality, maintenance KPIs and asset lifecycle management.
- Good understanding of occupational safety, electrical safety, lockout/tagout and permit-to-work requirements.
- Ability to lead an effective technical response during infrastructure failures, incidents and high-pressure production situations.
- Excellent planning, organisational, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical risks, recommendations and operational consequences to senior management.
- Good written and spoken Croatian and English, required for daily technical communication, team leadership, cooperation with contractors and preparation of technical documentation.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple critical activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to provide or coordinate technical support outside standard working hours when required by critical operational situations.
- Proactive mindset with strong ownership, accountability and sound technical decision-making abilities.
