        Are you passionate about Software Engineering, Data Science as well as AI and want to contribute to the development of a strategic technological vision and direction? Keep on reading because we’re hiring (junior to senior positions open): Data Engineer/Consultant.

Become a part of a Data, AI and Software Engineering dedicated team in Croatia that will work on international large-scale projects. You’re in charge of understanding our customers’ needs, designing solutions and implementing business use cases, from data ingestion to data modelling, data processing and data-out.

Responsibilities and tasks include:
- Define, implement, and improve the software architecture, tech-stack, best practices and data driven processes and applications
- Work closely with Product Owners, Software Developers and Data Scientists with the aim of meeting current and future user needs
- Understand and explain advantages and disadvantages of the proposed solutions to internal and external stakeholders, at different levels
- Keep up with trends and evolving technology in the big data, analytics and AI world and write announcements, blog posts and technical documentation

Uvjeti:
Requirements expected:
- Degree in Computer Science or Engineering; however, your professional experience and proven skills are more important
- Competence in running big data workloads and familiar with data engineering patterns (Ingestion, Transformation, Storage, Consumption etc.)
- Proven expertise in SQL and transactional SQL derivates (e. g. T-SQL, PL/SQL, PL/pgSQL)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Java, Kotlin, Scala, C#, Python)
- Software engineering (micro services, design patterns, version control, automated testing, concurrent programming etc.)

Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Tools/Libraries like Container, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure platform (for ex. Data Factory), Databricks, Pandas, Spark, Skikit-learn, SciPy or Langchain
- Experience in Machine Learning and generative AI
- Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
- German language skills (English full proficiency expected)
