                                        We’re expanding our team and looking for a Senior Node.js Engineer to join a long-term project for our client, an AI-powered productivity and work automation platform that helps teams streamline collaboration and project execution. You’ll build and maintain scalable backend services, working on core backend systems and integrations while collaborating closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to ensure performance, reliability, and security.

What you’ll be doing: 
Build and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js (TypeScript) and modern backend patterns 
Design and evolve APIs and integrations, including third-party systems and data synchronization flows 
Improve reliability and performance through solid architecture decisions, error handling, and performance tuning 
Work with event-driven and background processing, decoupling heavy workloads from request/response paths 
Take ownership of code quality and operations, writing clean, testable code and helping improve observability and production stability 
Collaborate closely with the team, working with frontend and product, participating in planning, and mentoring other engineers
What we are looking for in a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Node.js/React): 
5+ years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript 
Solid experience designing and building RESTful APIs and well-structured backend services 
Good understanding of relational databases, including schema design, complex SQL queries, and performance optimization 
Hands-on experience with caching and in-memory stores (e.g. Redis) and event-driven or message-based systems 
Strong grasp of microservices architecture, service boundaries, and backend best practices 
Knowledge of testing and security fundamentals, with a focus on writing reliable, secure, and maintainable code
It would be cool if you also have, but it’s not necessary:
Experience running production systems in the cloud (AWS/Azure)
Familiarity with observability tools and monitoring best practices
Experience with Docker and container-based deployments (Kubernetes is a plus)
Exposure to GraphQL, Hasura, or data-heavy systems
