CONSUMER COLLECTING SPECIALIST
The Consumer Collecting Specialist is responsible for leading two marketing functions (Sampling & University Activity) nationally, which aim to grow our user base and strengthen brand love among our target group. The Consumer Collecting Specialist works with National Marketing teams to recruit, lead & retain a casual workforce of energetic and passionate brand ambassadors. This includes coaching our Student Marketeers (SMs) out in the field on how to ensure quality consumer & customer interactions. They are responsible for managing large national projects from start to finish, integration of impactful sales support programs, guiding our Field teams on program principles and execution standards, working cross functionally on new ways to excite our consumers and most importantly are well connected to changing generational trends and maintaining & growing our presence on university campus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead Exceptional Execution of the Sampling Program
Ensuring the SMs are true Red Bull representatives and a tangible face of the brand through adequate recruitment, coaching & guidance.
Ensure that SMs approach consumers in a natural and charming way to:
-Communicate our product propositions – & how these will serve either a functional &/or refreshment need state.
-Drive trial by offering consumers the right Red Bull product in relevant occasions to influence consumer understanding and repurchase.
-Support sales teams through effective sales support.
-communicate product information in credible way, understanding product facts and functionality
Do frequent analysis on program deliverables and be agile to make necessary adjustments and program steering on a monthly basis.
Support Marketing team on events.
Support Marketing department in Wings for Life World Run b2b communication and sign-up process.
Responsible for secure, smart and efficient budget management of both sampling & university programs, whilst finding ways to optimize expenditure.
2. Lead Exceptional Execution of the University Program
Guiding and supporting Student Marketeers to drive Red Bull trial, increase brand awareness and foster a positive product and brand perception within their respective universities.
Provide clear expectations and a framework which allows SMs to effectively plan and deliver a localised campus plan to infuse Red Bull into student lifestyle at their university during key moments (study, party, etc.), using a “from students for students” approach.
Develop and implement an innovative program of exciting brand activity such as events, hacks & campaigns that will maintain Red Bull as a credible and relevant brand for students, protect against competition and win students as loyal Red Bull consumers.
Identify opportunities to bring national and international best practice Red Bull events & projects to life on campus, and support SM teams to activate these on relevant campuses.
Together with Global team work on implementing global student event in local market based on BP inputs, leading projects from planning to execution phase
3. Marketing Innovation
Regularly assess and analyze the programs, identifying opportunities to improve processes and excite consumers and students.
Work on plans that will sustain or increase % of awareness and brand image amongst students as well as improve student coverage & people reached on university campuses managed by Red Bull University.
Increase the usage of Red Bull Energy Drink in the Study occasion through T&A study.
Improve the targeting of sampling new & infrequent users through the Sampling program by reviewing data and insights on a regular basis and the mission planning process.
Work with Field Marketing to write, develop & deliver the annual approved business plan and achievement of agreed objectives.
4. People Development & Leadership
Support, train and motivate to optimize the potential of achieving high performing individuals and teams.
Spend time in the field with Student Marketeers coaching & giving top notch feedback which is actionable & development focused.
Act as a role model and displaying the Red Bull values having a consistent tone of voice that is motivating and inspiring.
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of experience in leading student relevant projects and events.
Preferably has been a part of and was a stand-out Student Marketeer.
Strong interpersonal & communication skills
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
Coaching and training individuals and teams
An entrepreneurial ‘can-do’ attitude facilitated by continuous learning and application of appropriate ‘best practices’
Solid analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions from data
Team player willing to learn
EDV (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Fluency in English
